Worcester Re-enactors

Membership to Worcester Re-Enactors runs from 1st April to 31st March each year.  The current cost (Apr 2012 - Mar 2013) is £5 per adult. Children under 18 are free, but must be accompanied by an adult member.  Renewal subs are due by 30th June of the year, otherwise contact details will be erased and you will not be kept informed of news.  The earliest you can renew is on or after the AGM, as this is when we decide on the cost of the membership fees.

From 1st April 2012: We are introducing membership cards.  If you wish to have one, please enclose an SAE with your membership subs.  If you wish to have your photo on it (not compulsory), then please also enclose a passport-sized mugshot or email photo to the address below.  The intention is to have a different coloured one each year to keep track of which one is current and valid.

Chairman's Statement to all Members
     We are a drinking group!  Occasionally we are able to rise from the bar and organise an event or two, but primarily we are a social group who happen to have the same hobby in common; Historical Reenactment.  Huzzah!
     For all events we organise our website is the message board for people to find out what is going on, when and how to get involved if they want.  We won't be pestering you every 5 minutes with all the finite details of each and every event or update.  Come along to the pub if you want to socialise with us, or failing that check the website.
     Best endeavours will be made to contact people about the AGM, membership renewals, Warning Orders.  These will primarily be by the free means of communication i.e. email and mobile phone.  Those who don't have either need to check the website or speak to fellow WR Members to keep updated.  Time and expense is precious and unfortunately we all have boring old day jobs.  We don't want to have to increase the very reasonable membership fee to cover postage stamps!
     Our season might be similar to the cricket season, but we don't give up if it rains, we march on through it all (blizzards, hail, etc).  But off-season it's party, beer, party, beer.  More beer...
